Nancy Duncan was born in Kilcoy on 22 September, 1938, the day that
electricity was first turned on in Kilcoy. Her parents were Malcolm Brown Duncan and
Lillian Matilda Duncan (nee Kruger).  Nancy had only one sibling - her older sister
Shirley , who married a Kiwi (Elgar Dickson) and now lives in New Zealand.

Nancy was educated at Kilcoy State School, and later at Brisbane Girls Grammar

She worked at the ES&A Bank in Kilcoy before she married Keith Duncan (no

December 1980, when they moved to Swann Rd., Caboolture.

Nancy had a lifelong interest in arts and crafts, and while at Mount Mee, registered a
business named, "Trendy Trinkets", in which she marketed jewellery which she
herself made.

In 1983, she opened a shop in Caboolture, called, "Caboolture Gifts".  This later
moved (in 1986) to Kippa Ring under the name, "Aussie Living and Giving".

Nancy was a Christian and faithfully attended Methodist services at the Mount Mee
